RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Jan 9 2008, 7:50 AM EST No it doesn't it's a scam , you lose far more than you make every month. It bets on the favourites in each race , so if you want to make R500 in a race you must be willing to bet R2000 to make R500.If you lose that race you must then be willing to bet 4 times what you have lost in die previous race. R 2000 * 4 = R8000 But heres the thing , when you buy the software they tell you there is no way you can lose. Then after you bought the program they tell you , you must be able to take 3 to 4 losses in a row. So if you wan't to make R350 a day this is how it works. Bet 1 - R350 * 4 = R1400 ...........loss 1 Bet 2 - R1400 * 4 = R5600...........loss2 Bet 3 - R5600 * 4 = R22400.........loss3 So if you lose 2 bets in a row (Which happens 50 % of the time), you'll have to bet R22400.00 to try and win back your money. It's not worth it , you'll be bankrupt in 2 months. 7 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Jan 23 2008, 4:49 AM EST These guys have been bugging me for 2 weeks to purchase this product; I am so glad I did some research on this product to found out it is a total scam. The fact that he says you cannot lose already made me think this was a scam. Their is no such thing as making easy money, if their was we all would be sitting at home and playing horses every minute of the day and earn R100 000.00 a month tax free. Why does he bother to phone us to make us rich, according to me if you want to make some real good money on this program you do not have time to phone around, you should use every possible minute to make money. This is a well planned scam or just a program that does not deliver what he says it does, I am not going to purchase it ! I hope for all the guys that were caught out by this scam will get their money! 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 24 2008, 7:20 AM EST What a big scam If you were caught the same as all the others, contact the DTI on www.thedti.gov .za to lay an official complain. The sherrif of the court could not deliver a summons at their premises, as they have vacated the offices where they were. 6 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Jan 24 2008, 8:10 AM EST They have been bugging me for more then a week now. All of these people working at intellivest has a different story. The owner of intellivest a certain Mr John Sharpe says you can lose all of your money very easily if you don't know what your doing and you can make about R7000 - R15 000 a month. When you speak to one of the sales people they tell you you can make anywhere from R30 000 to R100 000 a month. And if you phone them and ask if you can come to their offices for a demo , they have a lot of story's why you can't and whatever. If you can make R100 000 a month playing horses why would you be a telesales consultant ???????? The only reason why people buy this crap is because they WANT it to work.Think someone should phone Carte Blance and let them investigate this scam. They are cheating people out of millions each month. Thanks for all of your comments on this site , i would have thrown 35k in the water. 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 4 2008, 4:14 AM EST Its funny that everyone is complaining I wrote a mail and a post to the creator of this wiki allan99 and geuss what my comments have'nt been loaded due to the fact that they are positive. I personally have not had any problems with the program and to my knowledge and my bank account it does exactly as I was expecting. At first I was losing constantly until I phoned the customer support, when i told them that I would like to come into their offces fro a training session they were more then willing to assist me. So in answer to the people asking if anyone has been to their offices the answer is yes I have been. I bought the ISIS program from them, 2 years ago and went into their offices for a training session, I just upgraded to their new program STS, and it is working well for me and my father and I have not hesitated. This wiki is written by a pissed off person who has, no concept as how to work the program and personally i would suggest that before you fault the program you should maybe get some more training. Over and above that in answer to some of the other questions I have been to their offices twice in 2 years and lo and behold they are still in the same office block on the same floor as they were then, so I tend not to believe you when you say that you have sent them a summons. If you want more info regarding the program from a user and you want me to show you stats then you are wlcome to mail me. over and above that all I can say is that neither my father nor I have had any problems with the program and the staff have always been efficient in helping me when I needed help. So if you want a honest opinion then drop me a mail shalaneroberts@gmail.com 5 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 1:04 AM EST The software is a total scam and then there is support in the form of a phonecall, but only excuses and no possitive actions to actually make it work. We bought the ISIS software and it NEVER made us any money in the end, you win one then lose eight. It cost us R50 000-00 for 2 registered copies with a money back gaurantee, but according to them we didn't follow the rules and were not entitled to a refund because we were not betting enough money to make money, that was after already losing thousands. After countless calls to their office, with whom you can never speak, the reply was that they have a problem with the website but were working on the problem. Yesterday one cheeky salesperson finally admitted that the ISIS program does not work anymore and that the website has crashed and they were not going to do anything to the problem, but for only R5000-00 I can purchase a new copy of Sports Trading Software, but unfortunately with no guarantee that it won't crash in the future. A risk that I am supposed to be willing to take. What nonsense, do they they really think that we are that stupid. I am considering legal action and going to the media, because this looks like a scam to me and we are being robbed of our money. Please reply if you had similar experiences. 6 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 4:17 AM EST Please read the above comment and maybe make the effort to attend a meeting at their offices or atleast going through a demonstration of the program before making a profound revelation. The question remains did you go through the training? Did you use the customer support desk when you had the problem? Did you follow the steps that were required of you in order for the program to perform to its potential? I presume the answer is no to all of the above questions, as you had lost your gaurentee. It is very funny that out of the clients that the company has its only the 15 or so people on this blog that have a problem. Mmmmm.... I wonder maybe you should revisit your thinking. Atleast you were offered another product. Let me pose a question to you:- " If you bought a 1989 audi quatro, and in 2006 you needed a specific part, becuase without this part the car will not run, would the supplier still have the original part, the answer is no he will supply you with a generic, that might work if not you will be spending your days at scrapyards. After so many years and due the car not running do you think Audi will give you a new car for nothing or would you have to pay? In this instance the servers crashed in Australia and the ISIS program cannot work without this specific part, so the company offered you a newer and better product at a discounted rate of R5000. It looks to me as if you should then go complain to microsoft about XP first crashing and having to buy service pack after service pack before it worked. It seems like you have nothing better to do with your time then to rant and rave about something that you probably by your own affirmation did'nt use to its full capacity as you were to busy not listening to the instructions. My only advice for you is next time please listen! Maybe then you will have a better understanding. 2 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 4:56 AM EST I bought the program a few month's ago and was promised at least R25 000 a month starting with only R2000 in my account.Needless to say I lost that R2000 in 2 races. When I phoned them back they told me that I should have at least R15 000 to make use of the program and I should be willing to lose 2 -3 races in a row to be able to make money.Since I have already paid them R35 000 for the software I decided to pay the R 15 000 into my account and start making money. After 6 days my balance in my account was R60.I phoned them again and a guy called Adam told me that in order to make money I must have at least R50 000 in my account and that there was no guarantee that I wouldn't lose all that money. Why and for what did I pay R35 000 for ? The system is a bunch of crap , there are systems out there that costs less than R2000 and actually works and I should know cause i'm using one of them.I seems like they are targeting people that doesn't gamble or know anything about horseracing. Al this program does is it bets on the favourites in each race , so before you decide to buy this program rather register at saftote and bet money on the 3 favourites in each race you want to play.THATS IT , this is exactly what the program does. I see someone said that we should contact Carte Blance , I'm going to contact 3rd Degree as well. Oh yes and Sharlane Roberts i'm willing to bet that you are an employee of intellivest , or just very stupid. 8 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 6:09 AM EST Strangely I had the same impression about Sharlane Roberts, if it is her real name. Obviously some ex used car sales person used to con people out of there hard earned money and then trying to justify it as well. If she misread by the way I did not by a car, I bought a software program under the impression that it was Sports Investment Software, what did their logo say again "Leading Edge Investment Software". Furthermore I bought it less than 2 years ago, and not 17 years ago as implied by her. When trying to reach the customer desk with no luck and informed by Telkom that their phones have been suspended for not paying their bills and eventually reaching some dumb chick, which could have been Sharlane now that I think of it, I was informed that she can unfortunately not assist me because she was new on the job and still had to receive training. The other consultants all told me what to try, with just more excuses but nothing worked. Athough she is amused that there are 15 or people with problems, i am suspicious why she is the only positive comment on the blog. Makes you think Mmmmm..... Some cheeky sales person, calling herself Alice Young, not sure if she's male or female, (could be related to Sharlane Roberts) also kindly informed me that there is no gaurantee that the new software wouldn't crash. Let's you think Mmmmm........ 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 7:54 AM EST First, of all I would like to clarify something, Shalane Roberts and I are not related in any form or fashion. Second, I am not Shalane Roberts, I am a user of the program like the rest of you, so your implecations that we are the same person are totally incorrect. Thirdly, if you are unhappy with something you, try to resolve the situation in a civilised manner, and not the way that it is being done at the moment. Fourthly, If you all researched a bit more you might find that like me and Miss/Mrs Roberts there areactually some of us that agree that the program works, it is funny to think that you guys are under the impression that their are only unhappy clients. You are obviously with in your rights to go to complain to whoever you wish, but if you are all logical people which i presume you are then you must also be aware that there will first be an investigation in regards to your complaint, and like I said previously as much as you are dissatisfied there are people who are satisfied. This is a forum and a person has the right to voice his/her opinion, you have all been afforded the right to do so, so let the people that agree that the program works also voice their opinion, without the sarcasm. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Feb 5 2008, 7:57 AM EST A last thought I have just read through the post by Miss/Mrs Roberts and she gave you all an invitation to contact her regarding her experiences with the program. Have any of you actually taken the invitation to do so, before you started insulting her? 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Basfour / Intellivest / Datro Horse Racing Program
Feb 5 2008, 9:39 AM EST Can you believe I just received a call from Mr/Mrs Alice Young, from Datatec ? Just to confirm that the refuse to refund and that I have to pay R5000-00 for the new software. They suggested that we receive legal advise before we go to the DTI and the Media or SARS. Can Shalane or her friend please supply us with the address which they know because they have visited the company regularly. I'm sure it won't be a problem 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
